Dante is one of those author's I keep wanting to read, particularly The Divine Comedy. I don't know why, maybe it's one of those things that appear often enough in pop culture's imagination that I've convinced myself it's a must.  Although I have my own views on 'Heaven' and 'Hell,'  there's something about a shadowy, gruesome idea of an afterlife that piques my interest.

Oh yeah, hi.  This is my first entry...on this blog.  I create them on an impulse.
